The date and day of the week

How can I get the date and day of the week back. They've disappeared as options.

Change date/time display in upper right corner? I have a feeling this is no longer possible but I really need to change how the date and time are displayed in the upper right corner of my screen. That used to be editable but I can't find that function. I'd like to add day-of-the-week in particular. Thanks in advance

Make sure that you have the Default Apple Calendar app installed.

If you have it already installed delete it and re-install it.
