If the new iphone 12 doesn't have a charging box, how do you charge it?

Hello,

I don't do wireless charging. What adaptor will I need to charge my new phone? Do you have to buy a new box also? I am confused why they did lightning to USB-C.

Thank you

USB-C allows fast charging and has other advantages. If you have an older power adapter with USB-A and you still have a USB-A to Lightning cable use them.

Always wondered if it was bad for devices. Just felt safer using actual Apple products. My iPad is USB-C to USB-C, but would that box be too much power to use for the iPhone? Had to buy the cable that had a USB end to back up and synch with my mac. I don't use the cloud either.

I have seen charging box station things that are for USB-C like from Best Buy and Amazon. Are they ok for Apple products?
