I recently downloaded MacOS Catalina. Although it says it has installed it still cannot complete the process. There isn't a place to click and complete the process. I checked my storage and memory and I have enough. What else can I do?

It should not bother your files, just replace system files, but it's always prudent to have a good backup r 2 before doing anything... your HDD or SSD WILL fail sooner or later.
