Apple Watch reset

I got a “ Too many passcode attempts....” message on my watch this morning and request to reset the watch. I attempted to unpair my watch from my phone but after a while got the error message and request to finish the unpairing on my phone. I can’t access the settings on my watch ( I am getting the “ too many passcode attempt message and my watch does not show no my phone. What do I do now??

Apple Watch reset The Apple Watch has a message “too many passcode attempts reset Apple Watch and pair again.” There were no passcode attempts, so I’m not sure why it says that. On my phone I found a reset option but it says it will erase all content and settings. Is that what I have to do? It won’t let me put in my passcode.
