On my previous iPhone (7), if I received an email to my gmail account and read it on my pc, this would sync with my iPhone and the lockscreen notification would disappear.
On my new iPhone (11) this doesn't happen, I don't know if it's related to iOS 14 perhaps?
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

My iPhone is on iOS 14 and my pc is on windows 10. It was always the case that if I read an email on my pc the notification on my iPhone would disappear, but that no longer happens.
Anyone else got any ideas?
Can u tell me what os are u running? U said pc so windows? 10 or was that a slip of the tongue? U have a Mac right lol kidding.. just an FYI that may help while u read this, u can tell your phone when u delete an email to take it from your phone but leave it on the server, if your wanting a copy at home
