GETTING THIS ERROR
If you purchased that Mac from someone else, and you can return it, return it.
Or have the seller perform the following: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support
Or do as much of it as you can. That Mac cannot be used in its present condition.
The drive located at / is Read-only in Catalina.
You will need to specify a more complete directory tree to get to a volume that is read/write.
New to Mac 1st Mac the seller forgot his admin password now I can't reboot to change or add it
I can use it but no admin access to add apps a. New ssd hdd was installed.
