IMessage and phone problem

I am having a problem verifying my iMessage and FaceTime, when I go into phone settings it does not give me the option to put in my phone number, this has only been a problem since I’ve changed phones

iPhone 7, iOS 14

Have you changed the number listed on your Apple ID? You need to change/add the number on your Apple ID. After the change, allow up to 24 hours for the change to sync. Before trying to make the change, sign out of Messages/FaceTime on all devices/computers.
