unable to update IOS on my mac

as soon as i click on update now, restart option pops up and even after restarting the device i am unable to update the new macOS catalina10.15.7

not been able to use apps such as iMovies.

please help update.

Hi, to avoid future confusion, iOS is for iPhone & MacOS is for Macs. :)

Try the standalone 10.15.6 in Safe Mode, but not using Firefox...
