How do I upgrade to the latest MacOS software security?
My current software is High Sierra: Version 10.13.6?
I keep getting an error message.

Good morning. First I get a message that some updates need to finish downloading before they are installed, so I push button to download and install. Then I get the error message that The network connection was lost.(-1005). My internet connection is strong... I have tried to upgrade many different times. Thanks for your help.

Oh, that security update.
Try downloading it directly instead of through the App Store.

High Sierra is still receiving current security updates from Apple. Also, Apple does not toss out error message regarding security, other than a message you may see in Safari that a site you want to visit is considered dangerous.
What message are you seeing? Can you take a screen shot of it and post it here?
