My screen on my iPad does not work consistently sometimes it locks for short periods and will nor respond.

My screen will freeze frequently and become unresponsive.

Not accepting input or requiring multiple button pushes to activate key.

even entering login at beginning is hit and miss.

very frustrating.

please help

i do not run lots of apps at same time

i am at latest general release of software. 14.0.1 (18A393)

I have 230gb + free

it is not warm.

even opening an app can mean touching it 10 times.

If the screen isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


If nothing in there works, you can always try backing up, restore to factory settings by erasing the iPad or by by using iTunes on a computer, and then restore the backup.
