Exclamation Point missing purchased Song in Library

So I purchased an album and downloaded it. One of the tracks has an exclamation point. I tried going to purchased-but-not-downloaded from my itunes store but it's not listed there. I go back to the itunes store, and double click the missing track, and it says it cannot find the track, try to find it on my computer.

I am not given an option to redownload my track that I purchased.

how do I re-download the missing track?

Right-click the track in question. If remove download is an option use that, otherwise delete the track, but don't hide from your purchase history if that is suggested. You should now have a cloud link which you can use to download a fresh copy of the track. If not close iTunes and reopen.
