After installing the new update on my MacBook Pro I can’t even get my hdmi to work anymore. Please help

Big Sur update broke my HDMI capabilities Following the Big Sur update which I just recently installed, my HDMI connection is no longer detected by my Macbook Air (11", 2015). You mean the HDMI cable?

- try different cable

- try test user

- try safemode

Or describe more specific what used to happen, what happens now and is there an error or alert?
