Albums not showing all songs; issues with "Work name" and "Songs"

I listen to classical music, so my albums often have a mixture of multimovement songs and stand alone ones**. I recently went through and reformatted every album to reflect this by using the "Work name" option for the appropriate songs and leaving the stand alone songs alone. Everything shows up on my computer just fine, but when I transferred my library to my phone, only the multimovement works show up in the "Albums" section. As far as I can tell, all the songs are on my phone (I can find them in the 'Songs' file), but I want the albums to show every track. How do I accomplish this?

**In case this isn't clear, a single album might have an overture (stand alone song) and a violin sonata (3 or 4 movements, each labeled as their own track, which collectively are treated/viewed as one song)
