Apple Pay

Every time I try to purchase something from my phone using Apple Pay it gets rejected. When I look in the wallet the wrong card appears. The correct card appears for other payments(monthly storage etc...) appears in all the right places , but when I try to add the correct card I want to use for Apple Pay it won't let me. I've deleted/reloaded the card. I've selected the card I want to use for Apple Pay, this other card keeps re-appearing.

Anyone ever had this happen? Yes, the process is strait forward, but somehow I'm stuck.
