USB 3 connection between iPhone and mac

The normal Lightning to USB cables are only USB 2 (that is slow speed).

Would it be possible to get a USB 3 (that is higher speed) connection between an iPhone (X or later) and a mac (iMac or MBP 2015 or later) using the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter and a third party USB 3 A to A cable?

(This connection would be used for backup, restore, sync, file transfer, etc.)

Or, is there something in the design of the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter that disallows or blocks this kind of usage?

Are there any alternative ways to get a faster USB 3 connection between the iPhone and mac?

Thank you in advance for your answers!
