For your iPad mini, you need the Lightning Digital AV Adapter:

iPad mini has a Lightning port - not USB-C. As such, the USB-C Digital AV Adapter is not compatible/usable with the iPad mini.

So I can't connect the camera's USB cable to the USB port on the Adapter and then to the Mini iPad, correct?
