Safari no longer supports several sites like Linkedin, Facebook, Zomato

My macbook air is 2015 and is running on OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5. From the past few months there have been no updates to the OS and Safari no longer supports many sites. I have to keep using Chrome for them. Facebook, LinkedIn, Zomato are just a few of them. What seems to be the issue?

Yosemite also doesn't support 2Fa without decorated password (not relevant, but I mention to illustrate how old Yosemite is).

Why don't you upgrade instead of update?

Catalina.

If you have 32 bit programs running you might want to upgrade to Mojave instead.
