Mac os bigsur beta internet recovery problem

while i was trying to install high sierra to my mac using internet recovery without erasing discs using internet recovery. after it finished the installation the mac started up but it showed system restarted unexpectedly press power button or any other key to restart. then i repaired disc using disc utility then restarted and its bigsur again. why it is so. can anyone help me. will installing high sierra again using the same method fix it

Here are some steps that may help.

Erase your Mac.
- If you would like to keep the data, add an APFS volume. You cannot install macOS High Sierra on the same volume as macOS Big Sur; downgrading is not supported in that way.
Reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery.
- There are different Mac startup key combinations depending on which version of macOS you would like to install.

If you choose the option for multiple volumes, you can switch between macOS High Sierra and macOS Big Sur with Startup Manager.

When using internet recovery the newest macos will be downloaded.

Try SHIFT OPTION CMD R, for the original macos that came with your Mac (or closest still available)

thanks for the reply i will try it out but my startup volume macintosh hd dissapeared and there is only macintosh hd data. when i checked it was not mounted. i tried to mount it but was not able to . how to see it again in recovery mode pls help me. Its ok it helped me
