Shortcuts app missing in share sheets

I want to start using shortcuts, but they never appear in share sheets. The app itself isn’t listed either. The shortcuts are properly configured, I even tested it with my own ‘Anything’ shortcut.

I had the Shortcuts app offloaded when I updated to iOS 14. Not sure if that’s what caused this. I tried completely uninstalling it and then re-adding it, but it didn’t help.

I can’t find any discussions or advice on this particular issue, which is worrying. I would really prefer not to have to factory reset the iphone.

Yes I have done that. I have successfully added shortcuts, even created my own, and they run correctly from inside the Shortcuts app. They are also configured to “Show in Share Sheet” with the correct input types. But neither the Shortcut app or the individual shortcuts ever appear in share lists.

Thank you for finding that. My search attempts clearly didn’t. Yes that is the answer / wirkaround.

So it appears that currently there is a flaw in Shortcuts’ installation / integration functionality where a reboot is required, either after installing the app or maybe after enabling share sheet integration on a shortcut for the first time. I imagine this will get fixed eventually.
