It is NOT supported, believe me, I also have one (along with the newer models).
BTW, the page you link to explicitly states this in the preceeding sentence:
"The original Apple Wireless Keyboard, introduced in 2003, is not compatible:
Apple Wireless Keyboard (2003): Features a white case and uses four AA batteries."
Hi,
Why you say so?
I found the below page and it shows that the old white apple wireless keyborad IS SUPPORTED by ipad. Could you help to check if there is anything wrong? Thanks.

Apple Wireless Keyboard (2003): Features a white case and uses four AA batteries.
In addition, many third-party Bluetooth keyboards that use the Apple keyboard layout are also compatible. Check with the keyboard manufacturer for additional information.
While my orginal Apple Wireless keyboard will work with my WindowsXP computer, it will NOT pair with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Android tablet either. I'm running Android 4.0.4 and it will not work.
Bummer as I like the keyboard (I'm typing on it right now with my Toshba Libretto U105 WinXP).
You posted to a thread that is 2 years old. A lot can change in the tech world in 2 years.
Unfortunately, there is no change. The first Apple BT keyboard has remained incompatible - Midston has just forgotten to read the preceeding sentence.
