Booklet page formatting

Hello, I am printing a booklet on legal size paper. When printing, I have over one inch of margins around my content. My document size is set to "letter". I have tried other document sizes, but I still get big margins. I have gone tried to change the page set up to be half of a legal size paper, but the printed document still shrinks inside large margins. How do I fill the page with content?

Many of Pages' supplied templates have default document margins of 1 inch. You can reduce this in the Document Inspector.

Is your 'booklet' going to be stapled in the top left corner?

Or will it be folded once to produce a four page booklet with Front, inside left, inside right and Back pages?

Hi Barry. Thank you for the response. Unfortunately this did not fid my problem. I have changed the margins in the document inspector but I still get these large margins on each of my pages. I have attached a picture for more clarity. If I just try to print the document on letter size paper I have no problem adjusting the margins. But as soon as I print in booklet format I get these large margins that I would like to be able to resize. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions. I am doing a multipage booklet. It is folded on legal size paper with a saddle stitch.
