Can't download Windows Support Software for BootCamp

Precisely at what stage are you getting this message?

Also, you are saying "brand new iMac" (assuming 2020).

It is quite possible the Bootcamp drivers have not yet been

updated for the new iMacs and why they are not downloading.

With a release of Bug Sur imminent, updating Bootcamp for

the new iMacs is likely low on the priority list.

Verify you are using the Safari browser to connect to the Apple server...

I'm having the same issue, and I know many users reported the same issue. Don't know how to use Brigadier...

Unless you are sayin Safari needs to be my default browser for some reason?

If BC Assistant is causing issues, try Brigadier (https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier).

This will let you download the WindowsSupport files.
