Random static noise from speaker

Hello! I’m using an iPhone XR, currently on iOS 14.0.1. Since last few weeks, there is some static/cracking noise from speaker. Especially when using apps like instagram and whatsapp. The sound is just random and I’ve tried restarting the device but still it’s there. Sometimes even when unlocking the phone, it makes that sound.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

It could be that you somehow have set a static noise as the sound for some routine function like"New Mail" or "Calendar Alert."

You can check this out by going to Settings, Sounds & Haptics, and scroll down to Sounds and Vibration Patterns where you'll find the list and associated sounds.
