IOS 14 message notification during calls not working

Hello,

I have been having the same issue as many it seems since the iOS 14 update

During phone calls I am not receiving vibration or sound notifications about incoming message notifications.

I have taken many of the suggested steps to fix this.

I’ve restarted, turned off do not disturb, phone is off silent, no one is muted, notifications are all turned on, I’ve tried switching up what notifications are on and off, I’ve even done a factory reset.

This is clearly a problem with the update and I’d love to know of anyone has any answers????

I am a carer of people who require many hospital visits and updates and missing these important notifications due to being on a call is causing quite an amount of upset.

Any help would be very appreciated.
