MacBook Pro 2017 screen flicker and display turning into colored columns when the screen is opened.

How can I get this fixed at home as I am unable to contact and Apple support for the same?

In addition to the above, a bit of a story....

I Came Across this Issue:

This is something that I came across eleven times on my 2017 MacBook Pro. Each time, I dropped it off at the Apple Store for them to look at it. It worked each time having gotten it back, but then the screen eventually flickered. But after eleven failures, and being so patient, they gave me a free upgrade for no more than the price of my AppleCare + plan.

The Issue: The cable connecting the screen to the LogicBoard caused all of this.

Point Being: Consider purchasing an AppleCare + plan with it, if not done.
