Apple TV won’t update

Hi,

I have a brand new 64GB 4th Generation Apple TV that is stuck on TVOS 9. Every time I try to update the software it goes through the process then tells me the update has failed. I’ve tried restoring it and resetting it but still get the same error. How can I get this to update please?

Try ‘restoring’ the Apple TV box by connecting it to a computer through USB, to get tvOS 14 on there. Restore your Apple TV - Apple Support
