Apple TV subscription

Hey Guys

I recently purchased a MacBook Air and I got free 1 year Apple TV subscription plan. I subscribed the plan through my iPhone with the same Apple ID (same id in Mac too). but I can't open Apple TV in my Mac with that subscription. they ask another subscription for opening. how can I get Apple TV in my MacBook by using current plan ?
