BGE's website says I have to allow 3rd party cookies to do almost anything. This is 'to ensure the security of my session'. What works for me is to temporarily allow cross-site tracking. (Safari>Preferences>Privacy>uncheck "Website tracking".
This is using Safari 14.0 on macOS 10.15.7.
Good luck
