Is there a way I can delete her AirPods from my bluetooth?

So, my wife and I each have our own iPhone, and a pair of airpods (not pro). We always have an issue where her airpods will connect to my phone or vice versa. Is there a way I can delete her airpods from my bluetooth, and it not delete on her phone? If I delete (or "forget") them from my phone, it also removes them from her phone.

How to unpair your Airpods from all other devices but your iPhone? So, I bought my airpods almost a year ago, and i have lended it to my friends many times to pair them with their iPhones and Android phones. I have also paired them with a chromebook before that is not mine. I’m not sure if my friends unpaired the airpods from their devices and I’m not sure if I unpaired the airpods from the chrome book. I’m quite sure I did with the chromebook but not to sure. But either way, is there a way to unpair my airpods from other devices but my iPhone which is currently paired to now. Does resetting the airpods with the back button on the back of the case work? Please help.

Hello,

Hmm, are you sharing an Apple ID? If so, they are not meant to be shared. Each person should have their own Apple ID.
