Endnotes / Library / Pages

I'm having trouble linking the endnote library with pages.
I downloaded the plugin for Catalina. Created a library in endnote and opened pages by going to insert endnote quote but the window appears with the message that it does not find open libraries.
Can anyone please help me understand how to link endnote to the library?

Ensure that you have the following:

Pages EndNote Plug-in v3.2 if using Pages v6.2 (or later), macOS 10.12 (or later), and EndNote v9.3 or later
Pages EndNote Plug-in v3.1 if using Pages v6.2 (or later), macOS 10.12 (or later), and Endnote v9.2 or earlier

Quit EndNote. Quit Pages. Start EndNote before you start Pages.
