iOS 14 Contacts - Group has no members

I have a few groups set up in Contacts on my iOS device running iOS 14. when I try to send an email to a group, I get a message that says that the group has no members. But it manifestly does have members. What's up?

Hi. Just the same problem. Upgraded from ios 13 to 14.2 and the contact groups used in the mail app addressing field show no members.

It was and still is setup correctly in icloud. On iMac OK. In iphone XS not working. Used it each day, .... Apple, please do something. It worked for all past versions of iOS ... so, yes, it has been setup correctly. It is called backward compatibility.

I contacted them too and even gave them the link to this forum. I explained that I only began having problems after updating to IOS 14.2 and everything they suggested I try has not worked. I have spent a lot of time on the phone with them including answering questions from their engineers.

It got to a point where I could not devote anymore time to what is a large scale problem that they need to fix.

As I told yesterday, we all pay a lot of money for not having troubles as in the garbage OS of the market. For this reason we use ipads, as a professional tool. Ipad is not a toy, it is also a work instrument. Mail and groups are one on the reasons professional users prefer Apple.

A mistake like this causes lots and lots damages all around the world. Yesterday I repeated this concept to Apple assistance: if Steve Jobs were alive probably would have already fired the team responsible of this. At least a urgent patch is necessary. Anthony

Apple needs to test it software before it releases it, and probably not come to forms like this and tell us that we need to learn how messaging and/or contacts work.

The Internet was the day software started getting worse. Before the Internet a company had to test the software because they had to mail it out on 40 floppy‘s or 14 CDs and if they had errors they would have to send it all out all over again. Since then with the Internet, push out any crap software you want, and the customer will debug it for you, and you can push out a new version daily - no need to test software anymore.

Updated to iOS 14.2. Same problem for me on my iPhone XR and iPad 5th Gen. It's also changing the format on incoming emails for business contacts.

Starting to really **** me off. Fix this Apple!!!

I subscribe to Winnipeg Free Press and my inbox always read mail from Winnipeg Free Press or Costco Wholesale. Now it reads Free Press Winnipeg and Wholesale Costco. Visions Electronics now reads Electronics Visions.

Sending my complaint to Apple.

I also read on this thread that Apple does not monitor this forum. What's up with that??????

Same problem on devices, not on iMac. Groups have no members.

Viewing contacts on iCloud.com, on the devices' Safari, does not have the column for Groups, on the left, as it has on iCloud.com on the iMac. Tapping the + sign on the bottom, near settings, shows New Contact, but New Group is grayed out on the iPad and iPhone.

Any new ideas?
