I just bout an old mac mini serial number: YM****T0K but the first person never logged out so i need the password to do anything.. Is there anyway to factory reset it with out inputting the password?

Mac mini 2018 or later
Although you could potentially regain access to this mini by creating/resetting the Mac's administrator account, you may be better off completely erasing its system drive and reinstalling a "clean" copy of macOS.
