Hello good people- For years, there has been a chronic condition between my Macs of not being able to connect and sometimes able to. It's annoying but I usually hack through- which of course wastes time. However, now I'm not able to connect at all. On computer 2, which is the one that usually works, I tried: HD> Get Info> password/unlock> "admin" & "everyone" Read only to Read & Write and I get the message above. Why? I am the admin and it's my system, my password. Is this a virus? Note: When I hook up my iPhone, the pictures exported are auto-locked and I have go through the process of unlocking by: Get Info. But I have unplugged iPhone, checked Prefs> sharing (which automatically turns off when restarting-?), relaunch Finder (which sometimes work), First Aid Utilities etc., seek online help (which is gibberish to me). Help- I need to transfer folders to main computer. Thank you

Thanks! I realize that as the main user was becoming worse- it took forever to open photoshop, textedit, acrobat etc and could not copy & paste and save anything. After many first Aids and restarts, I couldn't even get a file on the desktop to move- spinning ball bogging down system. Funny however, I was able to connect with another computer and mess around with the files from there- and this whole trouble shoot began with not able to connect computers t transfer files! Then, I was writing notes in calendar to report the crashes and the entry disappeared right before my eyes- almost like someone was in my computer and swished it away. I'm not high, just frustrated. So now I'm in the tedious process of setting up a new user and it seems it's working. But I have to set up Mac Mail and Calendar etc and reset annoying defaults- like "show extensions." Thanks again. If you can tell me how to easily setup my original calendar, it would be greatly appreciated.
