Printing Issues

Hi

My HP 3835 Deskjet Advantage Printer doesn't print colored pages on my Mac OS 10.15.7. I've done a factory reset on the printer and added again on my Mac but still same thing. looked through all the settings both on the Mac and the printer but no option to select colored printing and still doesn't print colored pages even on the default settings. both cartridges are about 80% filled. Please can anyone help with any ideas? Really frustrating for me.
