My HP ENVY 6455e printer won't print color on my iMac Mojave version 10.14.6

I work on an iMac using MojaveOS version 10.14.6 and recently I had to replace my older HP printer for an new one. I now am using an HP ENVY 6455 e. I am able to print black and white but not color. I have tried going through the HP site but no one seems to be able to help me remedy this problem. I am at wits end in trying to resolve this issue. Can someone give me some sound advice?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup).

Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.

When I go to the print box the Black and White box is always checked. When I uncheck the box, the preview shows up in color but it prints in black and grey. I will go to Page Setup and uncheck the black and white box as well as the Setup but it still prints black and grey. When I go to the Color Management part of the print dialogue box it shows that the CMYK colors are not checked and can not be checked. For some reason, my software doesn't allow it to print color.
