is it possible to upgrade the hard drive in my MacBook pro from 250gb to 512gb and the battery w\o taking it to the Apple store. is it possible to do all this myself

Mid 2012 MBP was one of the last user upgradable.
Otherwise it is 'point of purchase' only since the components are soldered to the logic board.
