iPhone 7 Plus Home Landscape Mode not Working

After having updated to the latest iOS, my iPhone 7 Plus Home Landscape mode is not working anymore.

is this normal?

Landscape mode All of a sudden, my husband’s relatively new iPhone will not go into landscape mode on any of the apps. He discovered it while trying to use the calculator in landscape mode. We have done all the turn on and off and forced close procedures. Any thoughts?
