How do you turn off find my iphone ? I have lost my iphone and need to submit a claim but it wont go through until it is turned off. When I go to Icloud.com they don't have any devices on my apple id. please help

Per -- Remove a device from Find My iPhone on iCloud.com - Apple Support.
"If you’re not using a device, you can temporarily remove it from your account so it doesn’t show up in your Devices list. When the device goes online again, it reappears in the list."
