I have not found a video or anyone posting a way to remove a stand for an IMAC NEW 2020. I did find a post to add a wall mount to the one on the IMAC but NOT removing one. Can someone help me find a video or if it is possible? Thanks
There are no videos because it cannot be removed. Beginning in 2012 the stands on all iMacs are integrated to the chassis. This means the stand cannot be removed unless you use a saw and saw it off.
If the computer is less than 14 days old and was ordered directly from Apple you can return it and buy one with a VESA mount. The VESA mount models have a link below the iMacs with a stand. Here is a link to the US store that shows:
