What are some of the reasons why my Mac book would be getting hot so the fan has to run harder ?

Too many applications running at one time. For example having some News websites(which take a lot of space) open when doing other works on browsers(or just having a lot of tabs open). Having a lot of apps running at a time and/or it might be your hardware. If it is an old MacBook, it might have old refreshing rates and hardware parts. You could either buy a new Mac or fix the parts. Just try not to keep open the applications for too long. Force quit them by pressing 'command' + 'Q' to force quit the application directly, or 'option' + 'command' + 'esc' to select multiple applications. Note: This might happen when your battery is not charging either. When you plug in a charger and your Mac is in a low battery percentage( 2%-5%), your Mac will blow too much or air and anything you do will run very slow.

Hope this helps and sorry for writing soooo much!!😅😅🙂🙂
