Now that we are officially in winter in Montana, I'm finding my Apple Watch goes into an unwanted pause mode during my walk workout because my glove presses against the Crown and side buttons at the same time.
Is there a way to disable the two button pause function when the workout has been locked? I mean, the main purpose of locking the app is to NOT stop or pause the workout.

Mind you that if you want to pause your workout the feature is now toggled off and that you would need to take off your glove, then push up your sleeve then swipe left then tap.
Lots more steps, but do what works for you.
For me I do what fieryjack suggests
I’m more than happy to manually pause the workout the very few times I need to pause.
It has been frustrating when it inadvertently pauses.
And I’m glad this toggle is in the Workout app - I have been looking in the general watch settings for the toggle.

Hi,
on your iPhone go to the Apple Watch app. From there, go to Workouts sub menu. In there, scroll down to Press to Pause and untap the functionality.
