How to set default finder view for all folders.

Hi

In finder, every folder seems to have a different view. I'd like to always see the column view by default, only changing it to somthing else when needed.

Is this possible?

Or even possible to do a one - off setting for all folders even if later changes to a particular folder are retained?

Thanks

You can't change the view option of all existing folders. They have to be done one at a time. However, if you set up a folder as you want and then click on the Save as Default button all future new folders will be configured accordingly.
