Internal Mac Speakers have reduced volume

Hello, I currently have a 2015 15 - inch macbook pro and recently I have noticed that the volume output has lowered in my speakers to one half or even a quarter of their initial volume. To clarify, the speakers still do make noise, but are quieter than normal.
