Hi, I'm placing two 8GB memorys in my Imac Retina plus the two 4GB that came with the Imac, what's the order of of placement to work better? thanks

What year is the 27" iMac, that is critical. If you don't know, click About this Mac and it will tell you what year it is. The About this Mac info can be found by clicking the Apple Symbol in the upper left of the display.
Okay, install the new RAM in the 2 empty slots. Please remember to only use Crucial.com or Macsales.com RAM,don't use another brand and do not buy from places like Amazon, Ebay, etc.. iMacs are very sensitive to using high quality RAM and both of these vendors sell only high quality products, very fair prices, have lifetime guarantee and offer great support. In short there is no reason to not use one or the other.
