Phone and watch won't communicate with Mac following update to 14.1 and Watch 7.2

My issues seem to be getting worse. I use my Mac and have been able to open with watch. Also, to take calls on Mac from Phone. But following 14.1 and a need to totally resist Phone and Watch to solve a Health data issue ( transfer of data from Watch to Phone), I now have lost the previous capability. I have checked phone and Mac being on same WiFi network, tried to get Bluetooth connectivity between phone and Mac, but links keeps failing. I have checked iCloud settings, 2 factor authentication and toggled everything. And of course restarted multiple times. Any thoughts?

Set-up of iPhone 11 & non-pairing problem Just purchased a new iPhone 11 from Optus. When set-up found it did not load ‘Contacts’ which are obviously needed, & cannot find how to get Contacts into phone. Also, it will not ‘pair’ with my iWatch, iPad or Apple Mac - surprisingly, as my old iPhone 6 certainly did. iWatch is Series 5. I have reset ‘Phone - no change.
