Family sharing

Will I lose the purchased music I downloaded from family sharing if I leave the group? I bought all my music on my wife’s Apple ID. I recently purchased a new iPad with my own Apple ID number and transferred the music using family sharing. I don’t want to have to get on her device or my old broken iPad to change credit cards when I purchase anything. I was hoping if I downloaded the music to my iPad I hoping it won’t go away? Wishful Thinking? Thanks for your feedback
