Buying an IPhone from other country

Will I be able to use an Iphone purchased from USA from apple retailer, in India...?

Will it support indian sim cards?

Will my iphone have warranty for use in India?

  1. Yes. India has GSM service and the newer iPhones are capable of CDMA and GSM in the USA. Just ensure that the model that you purchase has GSM capability. iPhones Xs and newer models are all GSM/CDMA Capable.
  2. Yes it will support Nano sized SIM Cards which are readily available in India
  3. No. Your USA purchased iPhone will only have warranty in its purchase region and that is USA. You will need to bring in the iPhone to USA for any warranty service.
