How do I turn on read receipts for just one person since the latest update?

iPhone XS, iOS 14

I did some research. It's still there.

Open the conversation. Tap the contact at the top. Tap "Info". You can turn it on from there. Note that it's only available for iMessage threads. That makes sense as read receipts are only available for iMessages.

To the best of my knowledge, it's never been a feature of Messages.

Yes actually, you could go into each persons info in your contacts and select rather day are to receive your read messages or not and since the new update, that feature does not seem to be available unless you go into settings and make it to where everybody receives read receipts. I’m not sure why they would ever remove the feature for each individual contact.
