Charging cables purchased from apple

I bought a USB-C to lightening cord for my iPhone and with in 3 months it developed a slit and now 6monts in the wires are visible in two sections. Can I take my cord to apple to have it replaced? It’s not like it’s the original I got with the phone. This one I bought directly from the apple store.

Lightening Cable & Charging Port question Hello. I have a few questions regarding chargers. Will using old lightning cables damage my new iPhone 14 Pro Max’s charging port? There are worn out/corroded marks right below the white rectangle on the old charging cable I own, does that scratch, scrape, dent, or damage the surrounding metals or metallic pins that transfer the electricity inside the charging port? I am now using the new USB-C charging cable in the box that came with the new phone. Thank you for your consideration.

Apple charging cable cracking Purchased Apple iPhone charging cable from Walmart for more length than what came with my phone. Have had it less than 60days and there is a crack where the plug meets the wire that came out of nowhere and seems to be getting larger daily. does Apple have/honor any kind of product warranty for items not purchased thru them? Walmart will not do anything cause it’s past 30days. Is there a way to repair it or keep it from getting worse? How to I keep it from happening to a new one?

Certainly.

Expect to pay for the replacement unless the difficulty with the previous cable was caused by a manufacturing defect (highly unlikely).
