Does Apple learn typing in background

HI,

I'm curious.

I have owned Apple products since the iphone 2. And almost every model since then and 2 ipads.

When I type one of the most common words in the English language on my iphone which is the word FOR it comes up as FIR 90% of he time. Or FUR the other 9.99. That .01% is when it comes up as FOR.

You wound think that having back spaced the I or the U about 5 million times that the iphone would learn what I am typing.

But no it doesn't.

Funny thing as I was typing this I got a text. And in a hurry I mistyped the words frawhile. Meaning for awhile. I went to change it and it had a little sign above asking if I wanted to change it to fir awhile.

Absolutely hilarious.

I guess I have to learn to accept or slow down my typing to a crawl when I get to that word.
